Setting up SIMAesthesia:
Detailed Instructions.

From here you will be sent to a screen that looks like this. The first thing you will want to do is click the pause button, or press "p", in order to set up the rest of the project. After doing this you should see "Paused" at the top of the screen.

Ok now at this point, you need to use the command prompt (shown below) to enter the codes necessary for SimAesthesia. To get this prompt you must type (all at once) Ctrl-Shift-Alt-C. Once you see the command line you can begin to enter the codes.

You need to type the following into the command prompt (exactly as shown):
sim_log
begin; draw_routes on; bubble_tweak -10000; tile_info on; sim_speed -1000;
If something goes wrong, you will see this error message:

Assuming that all goes as planned, (it should) you should see something like this:

Now go ahead and unpause the game by once again clicking the pause button (the keystroke will not work this time). Make sure that you do not use the Play button to unpause the game! This will reset the speed controls we just established! Make sure that the clock (located just above the pause button) is ticking, and then continue on to the next step.
Finally, you will have to move the tile info from the top of the screen down to cover the control panel, as such:

You may need to resize it to cover the whole control panel,
and you can do so by pushing the UP arrow key (as many times as is necessary).
At this point, you're set up to go. Place the keyboard
back in the pedestal, and shut the door for another exciting day of Simming!
Closing down SIMAesthesia:
Detailed Instructions.

A dialog will ask you if you want to save out the log
file. Choose yes. Once you return to Windows, select the SimLog file (pictured
below) and rename it to [date] - for example, today I would rename the file to 042502.
This is accomplished by right-clicking on the file, and choosing the rename
option.

Now you are clear to shut Windows down, go to the Start
menu (at the top of the screen) and choose "Shut down". The prompt will ask you
"What do you want the computer to do?" Choose "Shut down" (again), and once it
says "It is now safe to turn off your computer", push the power button. That's
it!
